Operational Quality, Aircraft Quality, and Education Quality

The quality of most North American flight schools is derived from three points of measure—the quality of its training operations, the quality of its aircraft maintenance, and the quality of its training education. Success is derived from actively monitoring these three components, correcting incidents of failure (non-compliance), and driving through continuous improvements. All three must rest on separate policy and procedures elements, and conformity and compliance with these elements must be monitored and documented on an on-going basis. To be successful, the monitoring must be undertaken by participants in training operations (flight instructors), and the documentation must be automated and convenient.
