A key ingredient for a successful Integrated Quality Assurance program is its web-based access and design. Here are some of the important reasons:
The input and management of quality performance information must be accessible to a wide range of company personnel—observational inputs from students, front-line instructors, and instructor supervisors providing the quality information input, and input analysis and resolution by middle and senior managers.
The instrument of information input must be the personal hand-held device (the cell phone) via standard-formatted audit and reporting forms accessible through the company's website. A successful quality assurance program must be easy to use and must provide for large volumes of varied information.
The analysis and resolution of quality assurance findings must facilitate input from multiple middle- and upper-management personnel—to be successful, it must be a team effort, not just to be able to successfully keep up with the volume of quality information input, but more importantly to harvest multiple and diverse ideas for solutions, problem-solving, innovations, and growth/improvement.
The process of quality improvement must be fully verifiable by the regulating authority. If the verification system is securely designed as openly accessible—an accessible on an on-going basis—participation in the process by external authorities will be seamless.
